Do you remember the first prayer you learned?

I do.

It was this one:

Angel of God
My guardian dear
To Whom His love
Commits me here
Ever this day
Be at my side
To light and guard
To rule and guide. Amen

Today is the Feast of the Guardian Angels. My wife reminded me, as I kissed her goodbye and headed out the door: “Remember to say a prayer for your guardian angel. He must be exhausted. You give him so much work to do!”

She’s right.
