UPDATE: NBC caught editing Andrea Mitchell when she said rape charge against Bill Clinton was ‘discredited’ May 20, 2016

The press freaked out when Donald Trump brought up the “R” word when describing former President Bill Clinton during a Sean Hannity interview. When discussing a New York Times piece on Trump’s former lovers, Trump pointed out that his behavior with women was perfectly acceptable… especially since Clinton’s incidents have gone unscrutinized.

Here’s the exchange:

“By the way, you know, it’s not like the worst things, OK,” Trump said. “You look at what Clinton’s gone through with all of the problems and all of the things that he’s done.”

Hannity went on to question whether the newspaper would interview women including Juanita Broaddrick, Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey. All three have accused Bill Clinton of sexual misconduct.

“In one case, it’s about exposure. In another case, it’s about groping and fondling and touching against a woman’s will,” Hannity said.

“And rape,” Trump responded.

Of course, this sent shock waves through the political elite and the media (oh-but-I-repeat-myself) who have done their best to cover up Clinton’s sexually predatory behavior.  See Juanita Broaddrick’s most credible description of what happened in an Arkansas hotel room many years ago here:

Just as reporters covered up Bill Cosby’s behavior, they’re at it again.  Watch Andrea Mitchell minimize Broaddrick’s claim with one dismissive phrase:

In other words, NBC is perfectly willing to take the President at his word.  #WarOnWomen?  We know which party is really waging that one.

Andrea Mitchell, instead of dismissing the accusations, perhaps you could be a real journalist and investigate the claims?
