Trump the Past Philanderer Exposed

Trump the Past Philanderer Exposed October 7, 2016

DonaldTrumpFirstDebateToday, the most politically-informative newspaper in the USA, The Washington Post–which has opposed Donald Trump for U.S. president–released a tape 2005 recorded conversation between him and Billy Bush, host of “Access Hollywood,” as they were driving up to the television set of the soap opera “Days of Our Lives” in which Trump was going to make a cameo appearance. The conversation was private and unknowingly taped with a “hot” microphone. It is very damaging to Donald Trump in his run for the U.S. presidency, with the election only a month away.

You can bet your bottom dollar that Donald Trump will do everything he can to find out who taped this conversation, who gave the tape recording to The Washington Post, and then he will sue whoever he can.

In this conversation, Trump is very lewd in the characterization of himself as a philanderer. He uses sexual language in his narrative of attempting to have sex with a named married woman. It is not only a tape recording, but a video showing the bus traveling along with Trump and Bush in it while they were having this conversation. This expose may prove even more damaging to Donald Trump’s prospects to become U.S. president than the New York Time‘s revelation days ago that the professedly multi-billionaire may not have paid federal income taxes for the past twenty years or more.

But this idea of Donald Trump being a serial philanderer, at least at certain times in his life, should not be surprising. That general description of him has been reported many times. But like seeing actual violence on a video tape, an actual recording of what a person says makes more of a profound impression upon people. That will surely prove true with a large majority of female voters.

With this recording now out, where do so many Evangelicals stand now about Trump as president ? It has been embarrassing for me as an Evangelical to see so many Evangelicals and their leaders publicly endorsing Donald Trump for president. It shows that they care more about their social agenda, some of which Trump supports, than about the immoral character of the man. I think it’s a shame.

Most Americans surely know by now that former Republican presidents George H.W. Bush and son George W. Bush have stated publicly they are not voting for Republican Donald Bush for president. And Bush senior recently stated he is voting for Democrat Hilary Clinton. But who is the Billy Bush with whom Donald Trump had this seemingly private conversation? Is there some shenanigans going on here?

Aaron Blake at The Washington Post reported this story today and released the video with it. He concludes concerning Donald Trump, “But if this is the thing that is remembered as having ended his shot at the presidency, the fact that his downfall came via a conversation with Jeb and George W. Bush’s cousin is a pretty remarkable footnote in political history.”
