Kermit Zarley is known mostly for his career as a tournament-winning professional golfer with the PGA TOUR and its Champions Tour. In 1965, he co-founded and thereafter helped lead the PGA Tour Bible Study, which thrives today. That same year he received his nickname when comedian Bob Hope interviewed him and Jack Nicklaus on TV, saying, “Kermit Zarley! With a name like that he sounds like the pro from the moon.” Now, Zarley (kermitzarley.com) is the author of several theological books and a member of the Society of Biblical Literature.
