Prayer Request

A reader writes:

Could you please invite all the prayer warriors out there on your blog to pray for the following situation?

My brother-in-law’s 84-year-old mother fell on Mother’s Day and sustained a subdural hematoma. She has since been slipping in and out of consciousness and suffering amnesia about the entire incident, even to the point of not recognizing her own son. The neurosurgeon fears that her condition could be imminently fatal if swelling worsens. Given her age and frailty, she could not survive any kind of surgery. Just this past year, my brother-in-law admitted his father–and this poor woman’s husband of over 60 years–into a facility because of a progressive case of Alzheimer’s. He’s also about to become a father for the first time as his daughter, already named Gianna, is due in early-July.

I’ve entrusted all of this into the hands of Our Blessed Mother, and placed everything, with confidence, into the Sacred Heart of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

We would deeply appreciate any and all prayers.
