Serendipity

There’s only one of me and lots of stuff on the web. Thanks to the ironic midwifery of TurretinFan, I got introduced to a quite lovely article by Arturo Vasquez that does a beautiful job of pushing back against the Mariophobic Response Syndrome that characterizes so much of anti-Catholic polemic. What TurretinFan regards as “inappropriate Mariolatry” is, in fact, simply Vasquez’ articulate defense of the piety that has sustained the ordinary faithful for two millennia while the clever boys with the book learning were (quite often) screwing things up.
