Who Knew?

Turns out physical and psychological torture have long-term psychological effects–and they aren’t very effective!

Not mentioned: unrepented, the mortal sin of torture also sends torturers and those who, with full knowledge and understanding of their act, consent to torture in their hearts to the everlasting fires of hell for an eternity separated from God in endless bitter torment and loss, which is an even longer-term effect.
