I am trying to promote and help re-educate Catholics about the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.

We have been able to get adoration here at our parish, St. Joseph, in Winter Haven FL, on Thursday’s from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. It has been going for a year now. But it still discourages me on how few Catholics believe in the real presence, body, blood, soul and divinity of our Lord. We have such an awesome gift.

Anyway, I am a Secular Franciscan and I have a special devotion to the Eucharist and the Holy Name of Jesus.
I had an idea for a billboard campaign and or bumper stickers.

At Christmas time we have billboards up around town that show a cradle/crib, and the Cross, with some kind of blurb I can’t remember what, it is put up by the local protestant churches. Franciscans are devoted to the incarnation, the crucifixion, and The Eucharist. So when I saw the billboard with the Crib and the Cross I felt like something was missing and that would be The Eucharist. The idea would be for a billboard or bumper sticker with the following: It would have the Crib, The Cross and a Monstrance. On the top it would say I believe in…. and then under each picture it would say, (under the Crib) The Truth, (under the Cross) The Whole Truth, and (under the Monstrance), and nothing but the Truth. And on the bottom the words, “So help me God” could be put also, or “Jesus Is The Truth”.

At Easter the billboards in town had a picture of Jesus coming out of the tomb, with the words He Is Risen. It was beautiful, but I again thought of the Eucharist. So I wanted to create a billboard or bumper sticker that had a picture of the Risen Christ and under it; it would say, He Is Risen and then next to that picture there could be a picture of a beautiful Monstrance and under it; it would say, “and He Is Here”.

He is Risen and He is Here!

I am trying to get these promoted before the Feast of Corpus Christi on June 26th. So please feel free to pass these ideas on to anyone you know who actually may be able to support these ideas.

Peace, Love and Joy,
Your sister in Christ,

FWIW, don’t confuse “Not doing perpetual adoration” with “not believing in the Real Presence”. Beyond that, may God bless your work in the Vineyard!
