I have a policy of always trusting outfits that go back and forth between “investment” and “donation” as their description of the money I’m supposed to give them.

  • Charlie

I, for one, am certainly ready to catch up on the latest goings-on in Pellucidar. Where do I sign up?

  • Steve P

“In my country, I was champion documentary filmmaker…” -Lars, from the truly awful Journey to the Center of the Earth cartoon…

(Okay, I had to include the descriptor because I was virtually certain nobody would get that obscure reference.)

The entire expedition will almost certainly be eaten by a Shoggoth- if there are any survivors they will return insane and raving about the imminent return of Cthulhu.

  • Michelle

    In search of Santa’s workshop?

    Bilbo’s “There and Back Again.”

When I was younger I imagined about what it would be like if the Earth _were_ hollow(knowing full well it wasn’t, mind you). It was a fantasy worthy of Jules Verne. All those ancient, wise people living underneath me, with their feet to mine…

“Use completed human consciousness training to attract inner Earth presence.”
Dang! That would make a great t-shirt!
And try saying it after you’ve had a few beers.

  • John C. Wright

“The North Pole Inner Earth Expedition is by far the most innovative and courageous exploration effort in modern times. We are unable to go to the Moon. We are decades away from manned exploration to Mars. This Expedition to the North Pole region is possible and within reach. ”
Even for loons suffering from spiritual starvation so severe they start to look for God in Pellucidar guided by Professor Lindenbrook and David Innes, I find this to be an odd statement.
Does the “we” who cannot get to the Moon include just the North Pole Hole organizers, just the modern age, or does this include Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin?

    • Mark Shea

So you’re one of the suckers who believe the reptilianoid hoax about the Moon Landings, eh? Free your mind, man!

      • Ted Seeber

I thought the Silence made it Real (not-so-obscure Dr. Who reference)

    • Ted Seeber

Well, actually, I think it means anybody other than China. The USSR and the USA can’t seem to put together the $$$$ necessary for a moon shot anymore.
