SCIENCE!!!

vs. the Earworm.

This reminds me of the apocryphal multi-billion dollar program launch by the United States to perfect a pen that would work in zero G.  The Russians just used pencils.

If you are bugged by an earworm (an annoying song you can’t get out of your head), just listen to another catchy song you like.  Problem solved.

The thing they put in Chekov’s ear looks like a firefly larva.

Mark, just FYI: you wrote: “An annoying son you can’t get out of your head.”
I’ll take your word that your son is annoying, but I’m not sure how he can get into your head or a song could get him out.

“Here I go again on my own…
Goin’ down the only road I’ve ever known…”

Now it’s in YOUR head too!

Good Heavens Ms Sakamoto you’re beautiful!

It doesn’t work. I can blast Motorhead for 8 hours straight, and I still can’t get “If you like Pina Collada…” out of my head. It’s madness.

And here I thought we were above using torture for scientific studies (subjected to Lady Gaga, Beyonce, etc. ::shudders::).

My dad gave me a space pen when I was young! Still love it!

Do you have a special pen for each letter or just a special pen for spaces?
