A reader notes:
Being CNN journalism, it’s hard to tell for sure. But reading carefully — sometimes between the lines — it seems to be ultimately good news. All the usual “war on women” tactics aren’t working like they used to. Even the rabidly pro-abortion candidates have had to town it down and instead focus on economic issues.
CNN’s take, of course, is that it is because Republicans are better at selling their revised snake oil. But they seem to be ignoring the obvious: In an age of 3D ultrasounds and genetic mapping, insisting that an unborn child isn’t a living person is so blatantly stupid that even our sex-obsessed culture is starting to catch on.
In short: We’re winning. We haven’t won yet, but this particular battle is trending in our direction.
May God defend innocent human life, by the power of the Holy Spirit!
