Hi Mark, I have a prayer request. I was wondering if your could throw up some prayers for my nephew Carter. At the age of 4 months he suffered a stroke from a clot in his picc line. Several months later he had open heart surgery to resolve a congenital heart defect. Over the past year he has been suffering seizure activity because of the damage done to his brain from the stroke; the seizures are causing more damage so he is going into surgery tomorrow morning at 8am central time to have a large portion of his right hemisphere removed and then have a hemispherectomy. The little guy has been through a lot in his 2 years of life but has remained a tender-hearted and joyful little guy. Any and all prayers would be appreciated. God’s Peace.

Father, hear our prayer for his complete healing in body, soul, and spirit.  Grant his caregivers grace, compassion, wisdom, counsel, knowledge, understanding, creativity, insight, skill and the proper technology to assist in his healing.  Give him and all who love him grace, peace, consolation, strength, faith, hope, and love.  Mother Mary and St. Luke, pray for them.  We ask this through Christ our Lord.  Amen!

Recently I participated in 40 Days for Life, and while praying outside the abortion mill, the group was joined by this friendly, older man.  After talking with him a little while, I discovered within the past few years he had lost his job and his home and is now living on the streets.  Because he’s in his late fifties, no one wants to hire him.  I thought it would be good to pray that he finds a job, a home, and any other necessities.

Father, hear our prayer that this man can find a good job at a living wage through our Lord Jesus Christ.  Mother Mary and St. Joseph, pray for him.
