Two More Martyrs for Christ

Correction:  Three more martyrs for Christ.  Shama was pregnant when she and her husband were burned alive on Tuesday by a mob of Muslim savages.

In the early Church, this couple would have been instantly canonized as martyrs and venerated as saints by popular acclaim. Good enough for me. Shahzad Masih and Shama Bibi, pray for us who are so deaf to the blood of the martyrs crying out from the ground where they are being murdered all over the world for Jesus at this hour.

And I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God. 11 And they have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death. (Re 12:10–11).
