“Jesus Messing With the Food” (ink & colored pencil, 8″x8″)

No, this isn’t in the bible. But it makes a good story, doesn’t it?

I suppose if this were today and Jesus was resurrecting people, his handlers might want his campaign to be able to assert, “This has not been tested on animals.”

So much for turkey dinner.

Are His main concern on this planet.

Ha! (Steve, do you EVER laugh??)

Hmmm… I wonder sometimes. We have a bountiful earth, we were told to be good stewards of it.

I think that one of the problems with the organized church, is that it has encouraged in many ways for man to be ‘god’, to use and exploit at will, in the name of us being God’s most important thing, and therefore all else is subservient to us.

Personally I think its time for a good pandemic to wipe out 2/3 to 5/6ths of us, and give the animals and plants a chance to thrive for a bit.

Nancy that is just plain sick. I do hope you are attempting to be funny.

  • Ang

Funny! Now let me go make my turkey sandwich before it escapes the refrigerator! But I do have a couple dogs I wish we could do that with……

    never out of wine

  • Kris

    hahahahaha! I needed that laugh.

Again, this brings up something I would like to know about; what was Jesus’ childhood like?

  • Caryn LeMur

I laughed at this one! and I simply loved Mary’s sly smile…. !

We have so much trouble with the example He left in just three adult years, thank heaven His earthly brothers did not write about Jesus’ youthful years….

Much love in Christ always and unconditionally; Caryn

Nancy I’m afraid we’re far beyond the point of no return, extinction is extinction, a with all these species having gone extinct the ecosystem could never repair itself but change drastically and more natural extinction would follow.

Are His main concern on this planet.

Steve, I am not about to speculate on what the “main” Divine concern may be; but the Mystery of the Incarnation would suggest that God has a very deep concern for his Creation, including this planet.
