Oh the insane things that pop into my head in the middle of the night and make me get up from my warm bed and leave my wife to scrawl in pencil on a blank sheet of paper in the pitch blackness the silliest images that seem to perplex and plague me just so I can hopefully bring a smile to your face and maybe occasionally make us think a little bit world without end. Amen.

Some lesser-known imagery from the Bible!
    Excellent!

It really makes you question the almost universal use of “Biblical” = “Good”…

Hahahahaha! David you should do an illustrated Bible….or at a least a series of drawings related to the Bible…I am glad I start my day here!

How about one with the Pharisees praying to God.You would need a whole row, that way the entire Church leadership could get a group photo.

Love that you included the missing half of the adultery story. I’ve always found it interesting that no one cared to punish the man she was caught with.

It is a good thing that Genesis 19:30-38 didn’t cross your mind…

    R. Crumb illustrated Genesis. Perhaps David could illustrate the life and times of Jesus. The birth, childhood, awkward teen years, young adulthood, and then finally the 30′s angst.

David, I realize this might be a little like asking Israelis and Palestinians to work together on building barbed wire fences in the Territories, but I always thought that this book could use cartoon illustrations (1 Samuel 61 always haunts me for some reason):

Please feel free to call me wrong and evil and divisive. (I also put ketchup on hot dogs, and cinnamon in my coffee drinks, there is no end to my insidious evil.)
