Domestic, Sexual Abuse and Social Commentary in Novel Tried and Tested

Domestic violence continues to plague society. Layla Abdullah-Poulos and Tariq El-Amin discuss Umm Juwayriyah’s novel Tried and Tested and the author’s fictional portrayal of multiple levels of domestic violence reflecting partner abuse in the society.
