What do you think?  I’ve always found this to be the most disturbing part of Obama’s record.

About Timothy Dalrymple

Timothy Dalrymple was raised in non-denominational evangelical congregations in California. The son and grandson of ministers, as a young boy he spent far too many hours each night staring at the ceiling and pondering the afterlife.

In all his work he seeks a better understanding of why people do, and do not, come to faith, and researches and teaches in religion and science, faith and reason, theology and philosophy, the origins of atheism, Christology, and the religious transformations of suffering

My only issue with the ad is that it feels particularly staged, and I think the music behind it makes it sound really contrived. This is definitely one of the things that has bothered me most about Pres. Obama’s record. I don’t understand how he could have voted against something that should be so simple, particularly for those who claim to be Christians. I just don’t think the ad was done very well. The message, however, is powerful–hopefully that comes through in spite of the possible shortcomings of the actual format of the video.

Thanks for your thoughts, David. By the way, I’ve checked out your blog and enjoyed it quite a bit. Keep up the great work.

Chinese doctors are trained how to kill babies that are alive after being aborted, and they can be “aborted” at any time during the pregnancy. If people do not believe that there is a God in whose image we are all created, then their value for life becomes dependent on their personal philosophies only.

Yeah, I just keep coming back to this. For all the Akin hubbub, our President voted to allow infanticide. It’s disturbing. What’s even crazier is how few people know this because no one is taking the time to report this.
