In The Mail, Hot Off the Presses

A book I’ve been looking forward to reading arrived in the mail today. It is by Judy Klitsner, and the title is Subversive Sequels in the Bible: How Biblical Stories Mine and Undermine Each Other (Philadelphia: The Jewish Publication Society, 2009).

Once I’ve had a chance to read it, I’ll review it here. For the moment, I simply wanted to mention that the book is now available, and to thank the Jewish Publication Society for sending me a free copy to review. Thank you!

Thanks for letting us know the book is available. I've had my eye on it over at the JPS website for a while. I'll be interested to see your thoughts about it.

Blast!I'm in immediate danger of breaking my vow not to buy any more books until I clear some off of the "to read" stack.
