    I think the point that Fred is trying to make with this is that here we have a counter-argument for those who say that the greatest thing a woman can do is be a mother. After all, Jesus isn’t saying, “Actually, my mom is definitely unblessed.” He’s pushing attention off himself, (after all, the woman in the crowd is basically saying that Mary is awesome because she bore Jesus, not for anything else) and onto our fellow humans.
