Fun Holiday Gift Ideas – Part One

I’ve created a list of cool gift ideas for the different aura color personalities to help you with your holiday shopping. Instead of just guessing what to buy someone, I’m hoping this information about a person’s likes and desires will help you find the perfect gift. Happy holidays!

Violet aura color personalities are visionary, passionate, creative, global humanitarians, and communicators. They love music, travel, global causes, performing, photography, art, media, spirituality, and beauty so great gifts for them would be anything related to those topics.

You could give them a trip to another country, a travel book, motivational books on philosophy or spirituality, music; musical instrument, singing lessons, acting lessons, a camera or photography equipment; movie tickets, inspirational biographies about their heroes; a ticket to a spiritual event; clothes; beautiful items for their environment, inspirational art, furniture for the home or garden, meditation CDs or meditation retreats.  Depending on how globally concerned your Violet is you could even consider making a donation to their favorite charity – but make sure you buy a little something for them too. They do need to feel important.

Yellow aura color personalities vary. Some are fun, playful, and child-like; some are creative; and some are active, physical, and health-conscious.

So great gifts for your special Yellow can be funny movies, computer games, gadgets, or cell phones. Or they enjoy sports items – bikes, tennis rackets, golf clubs, baseball mitts, yoga mats, workout equipment or clothes. They love nature so anything for the outdoors – hiking shoes, a tent, camping equipment, or even a wilderness trip. You can get them anything for their dogs. (Yellows often have dogs.) Or the creative Yellows could use items like – paint, writing journals, drawing pens, dance lessons, music, or musical instruments (drums, etc.) Only if they truly want this and can have one – a puppy makes a Yellow happy. Or you can always take your Yellow to an amusement park to play and have fun – no matter what their age.

Blue aura color personalities prefer gifts that show love, appreciation, and/or romance. Blues are nurturing, emotional, spiritual, and caretakers. Anything that they feel really comes from your heart will touch them – even something simple like a romantic movie, a simple heart-felt locket, or a special dinner that you’ve lovingly prepared yourself. (Just remember to clean up after you cook – otherwise your Blue will take on the job.) Other special gifts for a Blue include spiritual books, music, an engagement ring, jewelry with their children’s birthstones, or tickets to a spiritual event. Most Blues have difficulty receiving so you don’t usually need to go overboard or spend too much – just find them something that comes from your heart. They also value having emotional connecting time alone with you – so spending quality time together at home or going on a special trip together could be one of the most valuable gifts you could give them.

Indigo aura color personalities are spiritual, honest, psychic, and they enjoy doing things for others – especially animals or children. Indigos don’t always value physical items. They are more philosophical, spiritual, and soulful so spending quality time with your special Indigo can be a great gift for him or her.

You could make donations to their favorite charities or find a special way to actually spend a day together helping animals, children or the environment. They appreciate items that support their creative interests – books, artwork or music. Meditation items and meditation retreats are usually special to most Indigos. They also often enjoy the latest technology – so consider computers, cell phones, or any other of the latest gadgets. They appreciate and connect with nature – so creating an outdoor sanctuary where they can plant their favorite plants and then spend quiet time there is a very thoughtful gift for these sensitive, spiritual, and intelligent souls.

Crystal aura color personalities enjoy quiet, meditation, and the healing worlds. They typically prefer a quiet evening at home. If you’re going to buy something, consider the something from the healing arts, crystals, beautiful music, a special flower essence or oil, prayer items, alters, pretty items for their homes, flowers or plants, time at a healing center or spiritual center, or taking them to a quiet retreat or a cottage by the sea. They are also very intelligent and cultured and usually enjoy reading so books on spirituality, philosophy, metaphysics, other cultures, great teachers, or history often appeal to them. If you want to take your Crystal out, maybe take him/her to a small music recital, a symphony, an art gallery or a very high quality lunch at a quiet and quaint restaurant.

Tan aura color personalities are practical, logical, and down to earth. So you don’t need to buy extravagant gifts for them – just be thoughtful. They will even accept and appreciate simple, practical and useful items for the home, the office or the car.

A good book on history, technology, or science can interest them. A subscription to their favorite newspaper or magazine so they can get the local or world news is nice. Items for the car can be helpful – a GPS system, new tires, or hand-wash their car. Most Tans love tools, electronic gadgets, computers, or easy-to-use kitchen appliances. Many Tans appreciate it if you fix things around the house, prepare a good home-cooked meal or enjoy a simple dinner out. Don’t over-do the ties – they may have enough and for a Tan “too much” is a waste. The only things you could never really have too many of are gadgets – as long as they are useful gadgets. Tans usually love the latest gadgets – as long as you don’t overpay to acquire them. You could even give them a gift certificate so they could choose their own gadgets after the holidays – once the items go on sale.

If you want to spend more, something to make them comfortable at home after a long day of working at their desk might be appreciated – a lounge chair, a Universal remote for the TV, a bigger, more efficient TV or even a second TV so you can watch your different favorite shows in different rooms, if that won’t break the bank.
