Congratulations to Buster

We’re having an important and long-delayed celebration for Buster, tonight, and that means lots of last minute to-do’s around here. Lots of goings on in the rest of the world, and I’d love to opine about them (particularly about Padre Alberto), but for today, it’s all about family and not the distressing world “out there.”

The world “out there” will still be wild, mad, wearisome and wonderful, tomorrow, but “sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” For today, my eyes are on my boys and the girls they love, and my heart is really too full of maternal pride, faith-filled gratitude and all of the usual worries and pinings of a mom.

We love the young men they’ve become, but we miss our little ones:
