    I just wish the guitar had been tilted more sideways to mimic the form of the reclined lady. Her curvature flows with the couch but the instrument disrupts the whole motion  of this. It stops the natural gaze of my eye.

    That’s interesting to me because do you think as an artist he would have been consciously going for that…I mean, the viewers’ natural gaze of the eye?  Or do you think he just organized the composition in a pleasing way to his personal aesthetic perception?  p.s. I googled images for this artist and there popped up at least two other works of women wearing the same skirt as this model.  And several others wearing a similar spanish style comb in hair.

      I am sure it was a conscious decision, it’s just something that distracts me.
