first the zombie apocalypse now it’s the end of democracy…

… Actually, I’m filing this post under “Hump Day Humor” because I dare you not to laugh at the hysterics in this video.

Does anyone else love the irony that Wisconsin’s state motto is Forward. It’s nice to see Wisconsin liberals are handling the defeat with class. Oh, wait

See, the problem here, is that I kind of see Kenneth’s point.  On the one hand, if I were a nurse or doctor, and refused to serve a gay client because they were gay, and that would be like, affirming that a gay lifestyle is good and natural, well, I have a problem with that.  Because you can’t just go around refusing services to gay people like that.  On the other hand, photography services and health services aren’t quite the same thing.

Now take the example of the recent murder of a Chinese student in Montreal and the subsequent mailings of certain body parts to different public sectors.  The guy apparently filmed the whole thing.  What if he had come to a Christian photographer (well, ANY photographer) and asked them to photograph the deed.  Could he then take the photographer to court because the photographer refused on moral grounds?  One thing is for certain, in this day and age, it is much safer to stay out of anything to do with the wedding business….  (hotel/restaurant/photography/hairdressing, etc)  My (non-existent) career as a hairdresser was going to the birds anyway…   But then again, even a gay person has the right to look decent, so who am I to refuse to cut someone’s hair just because they’re gay?   And if I’ve cut their hair for a regular day, how can I refuse to cut their hair all of a sudden if I just happen to know that they’re getting married next week?  And will refusing to cut their hair (or style it, or whatever) really change anything, except to make them mad?  On the other hand, as a hairdresser, I don’t have to go witness the ceremony.  I could have cut a murderer’s hair, that doesn’t make me accomplice or witness to something I find immoral.Yep, I’m a bit wishy-washy, but there is a VERY fine line…
