8 Ways to Tie Your Work Together to Cook up Success. (Part 5 of a 6 part interactive series on success.)

In part 1 of this 4 part article series on success explored how we often make career New Year Resolutions for success that are almost impossible to fulfil. One reason they fail is because they require extreme behavioral change. What if you didn’t have to change anything for unlimited success because you already have everything you need? Perhaps we just need to use what we already have in a productive way. Many of us suffer from the saying, “Can’t see the Business Forest for the Paper Trees.”  Let’s look again with discerning eyes. Part 2 laid out 4 steps that can help us on the path to success.

One thing I found extremely worthwhile and time-saving time is to schedule my blogs from my website and PATHEOS to repost a number of times throughout the weeks and months on my social media pages because new people come into my professional life all the time. With the new share and scheduling buttons available on social media pages it is easy and effective.

You could say I’m feeding my numbers and they are growing.

By linking Facebook and Twitter pages and connecting LinkedIn to them  daily posts are automatically  shared  onto Twitter from multiple social media venues to reach my peeps.

Use your small success to branch out into the SEO world by connecting with bigger venues. Here is how.

  1. Blog everything you do to build your blog site on your personal website.
  2. Share blogs with other successful entrepreneurs in your field to increase viewership, make new contacts and collaborate with successful people.
  3. Join online groups on Facebook, Google+ and LinkedIn to share your blogs and draw new followers to your pages to increase follower numbers.
  4. Use your blogs that have the most shares and likes as a calling card to professional blog sites in your area of expertise like PATHEOS for spirituality.
  5. Repurpose your blogs as articles. Turn blogs into articles and pitch them to magazines to become a columnist in venues like Women’s Voices Magazine or BIZ 360.
  6. Start your own VIDEO or Radio weekly, bi-monthly or monthly show/podcast to promote yourself, your clients and whoever you are perusing as future clients. Use your show as a trading card to get on other radio and TV shows. VIDEO links and VLOGS (video blogs) have a 95% higher open rate than conventional emails.
  7. Turn shows into blogs and articles to share on the sites mentioned above and in your newsletter to stay personally connected with your client list.
  8. Repurpose, repurpose, repurpose! Use what you already have, polish it up, tweak it a bit, and use it again with updated information.

Your To do List:

  • Find FaceBook groups that have blog shares in your profession, join them and share your blogs.
  • Find Google+ communities that promote blogs and share your blogs on those communities.
  • Set up your own blog on LinkedIn and share blogs from your website onto it.

SUCCESS TIP: Be sure to read the posting specifications and rules for each page before posting to them or you may get banned. (How embarrassing!)

Part 6 of this 6 part interactive article series shares the 3 Keys, to Tie Your Work Together and Cook up Success with you.
