Look on the dark side of life

The guardiansays : “Look on the dark side of life”, and seems to say we need to be realistic about lifes problems.

I believe many Christians try and pretend everything will always be OK just because they are believers.

This is not true. One promise of God people don’t often ‘name and claim’ is ‘In this world you will have troubles’. Wake up people, as much as we try and insulate ourselves fromt he possibility we will face difficulties- he always keeps his promises.

Jesus did go on to say tho ‘Take heart, I have overcome the world’. The true Christian can weep and mourn with the best of them, but never looses hope and as such is totally different from the unbeliever.
