The BBC reports “three Moroccans and two Indians” have been arrested in Spain in connection with the bombings. Yet, coverage here still seems reluctant to jump to the conclusion most of us have- this is almost certainly no ETA attack. Of course the implications are not good. Despite the ‘war on terror’ these people can choose a day and a target and create mayhem without any real problems. Where and When they will strike next is unclear to us, but it seems highly likely that there will be some kind of discernable pattern at the time. Somehow the fact that there is a clear stategy behind all this is more concerning than if it was random.
