Its been a while since I posted at any length about the Blogdom of God and where it is going. I must stress first of all that I posted a while back on conditions of membership or the lack of them and that standard continues at least for now.
This of course means that you should not see the list as somehow being a list of blogs that I or anyone else ‘approves’. There might come a time when removal was necessary, but so far we havent even come close. The list is deliberately varied, and so you can assess the views of many differerent bloggers who call themselves ‘God bloggers’.
It will be inevitable from time to time that there will be disagreements arrising- dont expect to be able to say controversial things without others jumping in, but lets be gracious also as the world is watching.
We now have reasonably impressive stats with The Truth Laid Bear: reporting 10435 links. Links we make between ourselves count to this figure, so do continue at the least to explore some of the other blogs, and when you find one you like, link to it or even better blog about it in your blog with a link so we can all share. (Few people read blogrolls these days- a healthy plug in a friendly bog can do wonders for a blogs visability. Lets help other blogs out. And do remember to mention other Christian blogs out there that arent in the fold- I love reading about other people on a different persons blog if you get my drift!
The more linking we do the more I expect our daily traffic to rise even further- we already have 22876 visits PER DAY between us
Now the next phase- if we arent already doing it- some of our blogs will need to interact more with the secular blogs out there. We can make a difference in the world, lets not allow this to merely be a secular ghetto- its not what we wanted when we started this thing. Remember we are in this to benefit other Christian blogs by raising their profile, and through that to get at least some of them noticed outside of ‘religious’ blogging circles to facilitate interaction with the big wide world. Actually all of us can go out there and interact and graciously comment of others posts- there is nothing stopping us doing that. Lets remember we are in this to serve the needs of others, not to build some kind of empire of recognition. I want you guys to do well in blogging, and I hope you want me to do the same. Lets pray for each other, and for the work of our many and varied blogs that they will all acheive all that we and God have set out for them to do.
