Meanwhile, the Reformation Study Bible ESV version is of course a major reason to make the jump. Especially as you can get it imprinted with someones name at the chritian bookstore I just linked to! Dont anyone tell my wife- but I have ordered her a name-imprinted one for her birthday. I wouldnt let her have a study bible a few years back, as I wasnt keen on her reading most of the commentaries that were availabe in study bible format. I am confident without even having seen this book that with the authors involved this will be a different story!
Meanwhile a few more blogs have come out endorsing the ESV- View from the Pew, Leon, Keith, peter ryan Chris, zacfoo and more from faith untamed. What I am slightly surprised about is I dont hear anyone standing up for the NIV and slating the ESV!
