Not every death is a great tragedy. Some you welcome as a relief for the person concerned. Whilst death always feels not quite right, am I the only one who is glad that a certain old man no longer has the world’s media examining his every shake of the hand and drool of the mouth?
As more and more of the media age’s heroes leave this world of pain, what will the media make of their deaths. Whether you were a catholic or not the pope has been a part of our global village for as long as most of us can remember.
The next Pope will have a challenging task to follow this man.
