Africa day at our multicultural church

Africa day at our multicultural church October 2, 2005

This morning our multicultural church in London was full of black and white faces dressed alike in traditional African clothes. Tope Koleoso preached on Celebrating Diversity and announced that he would be spearheading a new drive by our church to partner with West African newfrontiers churches.

Tope leaves for Africa on Wednesday to partner with the West Africa newfrontiers family of churches and preach at a conference in Nigeria. We had such an exciting time this morning celebrating, singing African songs and eating African food. We as a church have accepted a call from God to make a difference in that continent.

Please do listen to this morning’s message if you can as I honestly believe it was a historic moment for us as a church as we take up the vision to play our part in changing the expression of Christianity around the world, and especially in Africa.

I genuinely believe that God is building a bridge between London and Africa and much blessing will flow both ways. We have much to learn from them. I trust that we will be able also to bless them in some way.

If you are an African reader of this blog, drop me a line and let me know, as I would like to especially consider how I can serve you.
