My friend Dotun is a young up and coming preacher to watch. He has all the passion, and fire a man could ask for in a preacher, and he has great wisdom too. His sermon this morning on Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego was entitled “Three levels of faith“. It was quite simply the best sermon on faith I have ever heard. If I could preach a sermon on faith as well as he did this morning I would be a happy man. It was obvious that this is a man who has done exploits of faith in an environment where you have to pray because our modern “safety net” of health and social care just isnt there. I felt challenged to pray more boldly expecting more things from God, and believeing he is able and willing to act on our behalf. But he is also a man who has learnt the “but even if he doesnt” of true biblical faith.
I will be listening to this a few times this week as I want to capture something of the heart of faith that this young man demonstrated. You would be well advised to do the same, or even SUBSCRIBE to our sermons using iTunes.
