Following the exclusive post concerning
theodoping revealed on Challies’ blog, the Warnie Award organisation wanted to be sure there was no foul play before awarding a clutch of Warnies to some of Washington’s finest bloggers. A series of allegations which have emerged in the past have now been satisfactorily refuted, following our undercover investigation.The first allegation that came to our attention was that David Wayne and Adrian Warnock were, in fact, the same person. Photographic evidence has now demonstrated that is not true. Accordingly, the
Jollyblogger is hereby awarded a long-overdue Warnie!There was also a rumour that — far from being a blogger most known for his prolonged absences and refusals to answer questions over on the Together for the Gospel Blog — C.J. Mahaney was himself personally responsible for the content of a clutch of blogs that flood out of the Covenant Life Church area.
Our investigations have firmly established that C.J. is clearly far too busy evaluating books to have produced such an enormous amount of blog content. C.J. has, in fact, disappeared in his office and was last seen buried under the pile of books he was reading
whilst clutching a set of keys to his church’s bookshop.Furthermore, we have established the true identity of a number of the authors of these outstanding blogs. Random theodope testing (clandestinely carried out by our operatives) has revealed no abnormalities.
Now that all allegations have been cleared, a backlog of Warnie Awards can finally be released – secrecy concerns prevented any previous explanations as to why these blogs had not yet received a Warnie! As a result of that, this evening’s Warnie Awards bring you an unprecedented and historic clutch of awards the number of which will almost certainly never be repeated in one award ceremony again.
You will notice that several of these blogs are carefully targeted at different ages and stages of life. From now on, you will get “something for everyone” right here in the Warnie Winners headline box. So be sure you keep coming back at least once-a-day to stay up-to-date!
