If you are looking for an introduction to Church History, my friend Lex’s blog is a fantastic resource. It is well worth a read. Take for example, this entry on Lloyd-Jones’s take on a famous Welsh preacher who experienced a baptism of the Holy Spirit.
Lloyd-Jones writes, [of Harris] ‘Another extract from his diary says, ‘In private society till two in the morning like a drunken man. Could say nothing but glory, glory for a long time.’ (p.292)
