Top 60 referrers, and a big thank you to all my readers December 18, 2010

At this time of year I always like to thank all those who have sent readers here, and of course the readers themselves. In the past twelve months a staggering 2,090 sites other than search engines sent traffic to this site. I wish I could thank all of you individually. Many of these will have sent just a tiny handful of individual visitors. I know for some of you, you run a small blog with few readers and maybe you think what is the point of linking to an established blogger. Well, the truth is, we really are more together than we are apart, and it is the many small links that help drive traffic to this and other sites.

Your blog, with every other blog helps send traffic here and to other sites you think it is worthwhile your readers seeing. For that I am very grateful. Remember, the internet is like a giant library with no index system! You help to index the web, and every link you create helps Google to deliver more relevant results! Speaking of Google, on my links page is a Google search engine set up to search this site and any site I have ever linked to. You should find it a very helpful resource if you want to study any Christian subject.

Without further ado, here are the top 70 referrers of the year. This year the list makes interesting reading as some very big sites do not do as well as before. Justin Taylor, Facebook, and Twitter are clearly consolodiating their grip on the top of these results, but there has been some movement beneath those three big hitters:
