Get a load of this! Initiatives like Hugh’s book, the Evangelical Outpost blogroll and the 10 Christian Bloggers project are driving a number of christian bloggers skywards in the ecosystem. We now have no fewer than 10 Christian blogs in the top 100. Working together I am sure we can drive that number even higher.
It is amazing that the impact is this great even though these initiatives are so recent. I am sure that when more people start linking to the 10 Christian blogs decablog page and/or including Joe’s list we will have even more Christian blogs in the top 100, and therefore by attracting traffic drive more readers in our direction.
Imagine the impact we can all make together in the apologetics work that razorkiss is rightly eager we contemplate. What a difference a top 100 christian blogger could make to an an atheist blogger who he or she visited, befriended, encouraged, debated with and graciously interacted with. The rise through the ranks of godly bloggers who will bless those they come into contact with is surely a cause for joy for all Christian Bloggers.
We really can accomplish more together than we can apart.
So here are the latest stats-
JUST two days ago Razzorkiss listed 7 Chrisitan Blogs in the top 100 as follows-
14.(16) HughHewitt.com
16.(17) the evangelical outpost
19.(20) La Shawn Barber’s Corner
21. (24) World Magazine Blog
28.(30) ScrappleFace
54. (54) Parableman
94.(97) In the Agora
Now, we have no fewer than 4 “Mortal Humans”

I am amazed by this sudden leap in popularity for Christian blogs, and if I had time I would love to see if this held out for the blogs in the 100-200 range- somehow I expect it may well do. To think that so many of the blogs that I love (my own included!) are now in the top 100 of all blogs listed at the ecosystem is truly amazing to me. I would honestly never have expected to see a list like this, and trust me its going to get bigger as the large Christian blogs begin to work more closely together with each other and the hundreds of currently less well read God bloggers out there.
Who knows, our Chrisitian Instapundit- if we want one-may still be waiting to be discovered with hardly any links. I would like to believe that we will see instead a GROUP of Christian bloggers who are prominent rather than one who dominates all- we don’t want a Pope of the Blogosphere!
It currently takes only 550 links to get into the top 100. I know that we have more Christian blogs out there than that, so if you link to less than 1o Chrisitan blogs in your blogroll add a few more and bless your brothers and sisters out there and help to build the influence of Chrisitian Blogs.
It cannot now be long as Hugh said a few days ago before the mainstream media notice the phenomenum that Christian Blogging is now becoming.
