Sermon preparation and "lay preachers"

Unveiled Face author Mick Porter describes himself as a “‘lay preacher” and shares how he prepares his sermons with us. Incidently, despite the fact that I have a “secular” job, “lay preacher” is a term that I have always resisted using for myself since I believe that we are all priests so there isnt any such thing as a “non-lay” preacher. Now I have probably opened up a can of worms…….
