Living what you preach

Dotun Olowoporoku preached the other sunday at our church a sermon entitled
The Lord is our shepherd (mp3) . I listened to it yesterday, and like my last sermon
Being in the right place at the right time it seemed to focus on trusting God when things get tough. As you may recall we have had some delays to our move recently, and it struck me when listening to what was a great sermon how it is important that I actually live this at all times. I am not actually sure which is easiest to trust God when things are going well or to trust him when things are not. I do know that it is when things are going wrong that I am most likely to remember the truth, which is that I cannot control half as much as I like to think I can. God really is the source of everything good and our lives are a journey of learning to trust him more.
