Life is a journey

I took this picture just after my wife took hers. It reminds me of what has been somewhat of a theme for meditation for me over much of this year. Life is a journey. It is made up of many, many steps. So often we worry needlessly, when all we need to do is concentrate on taking the next step, and being sure that we are headed in the right direction. In my encounters with others, I need to be aware that they may be in a very different place from me on lifes journey. I must take time to discover where each person is on life’s journey and both try to help others to make their next step and be humble enough to accept their help to take my own.

I have also had a fiddle with it, and tried the picasso B/W and warmify filters on it, onscreen I think I prefer the colour version above, (not that there is much actual colour to be seen!)
