Now I am really confused. I have been tweaking with the new look, but cant seem to get the CSS to do what I want it to do. Bizarrely I get a very different look when I do a preview from my editing blogger template page than I get on the main site- I have padding enabled and a shrunk font for my tags section on the automated posts. Any ideas why that should be out there? UpdateMark is doing... Read more

Rome is a truly amazing city. I worked hard whilst there but did get some time to take pictures too, so I have plenty to share over the next few days! It has to be the only city in the world so casual about its abundance of ancient treasures that you can just sit on a wall right outside a building like the pantheon which has come down to us largely intact from Roman times. I have to say that... Read more

Bill Gates being a state-appointed censor does sound bizarre. But La Shawn and other bloggers are covering what appears to be clear evidence that Microsoft is co-operating with the Chinese government to muzzle bloggers. One blogger calls them “state-sponsored thugs” There is nothing in the mainstream news about this at all – I wonder if the blogs will make enough noise to force them to investigate and cover it? If you care about promoting freedom, have a look at the... Read more

My friend Dave Routlege shows his calvinistic training in his commentary about the history of his blog (which I helped him set up) arose. Astute readers will notice the correspondence to the five points of calvinism which cannot have been accidental (for more on the five points of calvinism follow the links at my post on Calvinism and worship. Anyway here is what Dave said: 1.I was totally incapable of setting it up myself. (Total depravity) 2.I did nothing to... Read more

Dave Routledge complements my blog in a typical over the top way on his new blog: “This superb blog is a mixture of theological debate, family life, book reviews and interviews with leading Christian figures. It is edited with skill and humility by the universally acknowledged Prince of Bloggers himself, Adrian Warnock” He probably said all that to soften the blow before using more artistic licence than Rolf Harris himself in telling his version of how he got a blog... Read more
