It bothers me greatly that Messy Christian who today reports she was Depressed in church. Again! is far from unusual among Christian bloggers. I understand entirely her frustrations with church- it very much isnt how it should be much of the time. I fully understand her comments “I believe in the concept of church, yet I desperately want to attend a church service where it doesn’t feel as if I’m performing. I am also really tired of ‘how to’ sermons... Read more

The Bush and Blair relationship is a fascinating one, The Telegraph reports: “‘His friendship with Clinton was obvious and predictable,’ one Cabinet minister told me recently, ‘but his alliance with Bush is a much deeper, stranger thing. It is a clue to what Tony is all about these days.’ If the novice Blair needed to bask in the electoral magic of Bill, the older, weather-beaten Blair craves the moral certainty of Dubya. In private, Mr Blair readily admits that he... Read more

The Sun- UK’s biggest selling newspaper and a well known tabloid, reports on the death of a teenager who was a sunday school teacher in a baptist church. She fell from the newest roller coaster. Perhaps unusually for tabloid journalism it is very responsible in its reporting stating: “BRITAIN’S theme parks are extremely safe, despite high-profile tragedies like the one in which Hayley died. About 25million Brits visit them each year and they are 16 times more likely to die... Read more

Jollyblogger quoted a theology professor: “‘Christians who say they take the Bible literally are either ignorant or self-deluded.’ ” Well I guess that makes me a physician who should heal himself then! Read more
