Five Minute Friday: Ten

Lord, I am filled with anger and animosity, and I want You to take it away. These things are not part of my rightful state of being. They are an impediment to my being the vehicle for Your love that I wish to be. Fill me with Your love, a love which is already there, just waiting to be uncovered.

Lord, I want ten times as much Love in my life as I have now. I want ten times as much forgiveness, ten times as much joy, ten times as much gratitude. All these gifts are Yours to give me, gifts You have, gifts You are.

I am sad, Lord, and I wish to be happy. Show me the way. Help me find those things which You know will bring me joy and satisfaction. Help me to become that which You see as my greatest potential. Show me how to love as You love, to serve and to help others. Show me how to empty myself of fear and distress, so that Your brilliance will shine through. I want to know Your love so fully that I cannot help but share it with others.

Give me ten times as much of You. Ten times, a hundred times, and a thousand times as much.

Because You can.
