Shannon Weber, Ph.D is a freelance writer, researcher, and educator on LGBTQ and feminist issues, a recovering academic, and a queer femme witch proud to
be based in Boston, Massachusetts. Her scholarship has been published in leading international sexuality studies journals including Sexualities, Journal of Homosexuality, and Journal of Lesbian Studies, as well as in multiple edited anthologies. Her spirituality is very much grounded in solitary practice informed by the resilience and healing practices of working-class queer femme witch communities, insights from intersectional feminism, and a desire to tap into her pre-Christian ancestral roots. She is particularly interested in candle magick, sacred sexuality, aromatherapy, tarot, the occasional community-based ritual, and progressive grassroots resistance against white supremacy and fascism.
