I’m Expecting and I Need a Village

I’m Expecting and I Need a Village February 27, 2017

ittakesavillage2They say that it takes a village to raise a child, and being a mom I believe in that. It’s also said that authors often convey the same emotional feeling of birthing and raising a child to birthing a book and marketing it. This August, with Llewellyn Publications, I welcome Messages From a Wonderful Afterlife: Signs Loved Ones Send from Beyond. It’s a Wonderful Afterlife: Inspiring True Stories from a Psychic Medium was birthed in 2015 and I was humbly blessed that it was well received and it continues to help so many find their connection to their loved ones on the Other Side.

Messages Wonderful Afterlife TEMPMessages From a Wonderful Afterlife is a continuation with more personal experiences and stories from clients, and the many signs and symbols that our loved ones, including treasured pets and children, give us from the other side. This book includes heartwarming and reassuring conversations with those in the afterlife, as well as advice on how to identify “heaven hellos” from your loved ones. There’s guidance on how to take care of yourself when you are grieving and how to support others through times of hardship.

With laughter, and tears, hope and joy, birthing of a book takes time, hard work, insecurities, sleepless nights, and a lot of help. And so as I await the arrival of Messages From a Wonderful Afterlife I’m gathering my village (of about a dozen) to help with the preparations to announce the book release and then assistance for two weeks afterwards to announce the full term birth.

Bloggers, readers, and reviewers are welcome! I’m looking for readers who love my books and are eager to help me spread the word to friends, family, and complete strangers. By leaving {fabulous} reviews (once you’ve read the book), sharing buy links on social media and on your blog (if you have one, but not required), and spreading the word to your local library, local bookstore, radio stations, television stations, etc.

The first two weeks of the book release is extremely important to help with momentum. I’ve found that members of my previous teams fizzled out at the very beginning, after just a couple weeks. It does take a commitment for the whole 5 months, although I promise it only takes a couple hours of your time each month.

There will be a private Facebook page set up for updates and such as well.

Requirements:

  • Savvy with social media – Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, GoodReads, etc.
  • Outgoing and unafraid to contact complete strangers on social media, email, and in person.
  • Ask your local library to stock my books.
  • Ask your local bookstore to stock my books.
  • Share interviews, newsletters and blogs on social media to get the buzz going.

Rewards:

  • For those near me (or want to fly in) Chuck and I will host a special event barbeque at our home as a thanks. For those out of towners, we will send a surprise as our thanks. <3
  • Some fun giveaways to those who make it into August.
  • And as always, our love.
