April Oracle

April Oracle April 4, 2020

April is a peculiar month, with some days warm like spring, and other days cool like autumn – the sun shines warm and the wind blows cold. The shades of winter begin to fade and the colors of spring begin to bloom. It’s too soon to put away the sweaters, and too soon to bring out the tanks and shorts. While the weather in April is so often confused, the energy that circles around us can be the same.

Oracle cards or Tarot cards are an excellent way to listen to your guides and your higher self, and sort through the confusion. We are bombarded by real life that we forget to take a minute to tune in. Oracle can help reassure. They can help renew  and they can help remind you of your inner strength.

Choose a card that speaks to you. The backs are all the same, but by using your intuition choose one of the cards that calls most to you. There’s no magic in this, just simply trusting your gut. So take a deep breathe in and out, don’t second guess yourself, and choose. Which card speaks most to you?

No peeking.

If you chose #1 – THE EMPRESS – The Empress encourages you to connect with others by nurturing, caring and supporting those around you. Find ways to support dialogue and open communication, creating a space to openly express your feelings. When we allow ourselves to truly experience the connections with Mother Earth, our femininity and those around us, we create abundance and radiance in our lives. Take a moment to reflect on the love that surrounds you and build on this energy to create even more abundant love in your life. Know that love is limitless. A wonderful affirmation associated with the Empress is, “I bring forth my creations with joy. I love and nurture them to fruition.”

This is a great time to start a new hobby or birth a new project. The Empress is the mother in you and just know that mothers also need to take time out for themselves.
When I see this card I often see a gentle female figure (mom/grandma/female adviser) on the other side who wants to help you out.

If you chose #2 – THE HANGED MAN – Things might feel as if they are in limbo right now for you, but don’t fret. The Hanged Man is here to remind you that through your struggles comes a new and better path. This isn’t the time to make huge changes, except for those within you. Change your attitude and change your life. It is instead time for you to hang around and contemplate all that you have experienced and look at ways you can make those changes. Don’t take action yet, but get everything prepared because the time won’t be long.

When I see this card I often see a person on the other side who didn’t love decisions, but did everything with much thought. He/She wants to help you with patience.

If you chose #3 – PAGE OF PENTACLES – The Page of Pentacles is a card of dreams and the desire to manifest those dreams. You may be in the midst of a new project such as a hobby, business venture, or the beginning of a new educational experience. In any case, the Page is a sign of enthusiasm and desire, focused around a goal or a ‘dream’. This is a time when you need to be able to apply careful planning in order to manifest your dreams and achieve your goals. You need to remain focused on the practical and tangible elements, keeping your feet firmly planted on the ground and not getting carried away with more ideas and concepts but rather being focused on what is realistic and achievable. Now is the time to start acting on all of those grand ideas and concepts that have been brewing in your imagination. Now is the time to make them real!

When I see this card I often see a young person on the other side who wants to help you play more. Their life may not have been long here, but that is the reason why they are so adamant for you to stop putting off what you can now.

If you chose #4 – THE EMPEROR – The Emperor reflects rules and regulations. He establishes law and order by applying principles or guidelines to a specific situation. He likes to operate within a defined structure with set boundaries. He respects routine and follows a specific regimen or discipline. When I see this my intuition flags a couple things – contracts and legal paperwork, and making sure every T is crossed an i is dotted. {Have you done your taxes yet?} This could also be some savings in your debt and talking to a professional in order to gain perspective. If you are looking for a job and this comes up – the job will be very corporate and you may have to go through several processes. If you have a job and this comes up, there might be more structure added to the company and this may not be seen as positive. It’s also time to ask for a raise, just make sure to have a good case as to why you deserve it.

When I see this card I often see a hard edged loved one on the other side who wants to help you out. He/She may not have been very warm in life, but that doesn’t mean that he/she didn’t love. He/She wants to share that with you now.

If you chose #5 – TWO OF WANDS – It’s about discovery, particularly as you step outside of your comfort zone and explore new worlds and new experiences. It may take some courage to take the first step but this card gives you the confidence of self-knowledge. You know what your goal is, what your creative process is directing for you, and you are confident in its eventual fulfillment.

The Two of Wands indicates that you need to consider your longer-term goals and aspirations and will plan ahead for what you need to do to achieve these goals. You have already come so far but now you feel it is ready for a change and sitting at the cross roads isn’t helping you move down a path, but it is time for just that. You may be considering overseas travel, further education or a major career change at this point in order to expand your learning and development, and to grow your horizons beyond your immediate environment. With careful planning, and a moderated approach, you will set yourself up for success in the future.

The Twos in Tarot often represent decisions of some sort. In the case of the Two of Wands, you are making a decision between sticking with what you know, or expanding your horizons and taking a risk.

If you chose #6 – TEN OF WANDS – You’ve taken on so much in your life and all those burdens are starting to weigh you down. There are burdens and responsibilities that aren’t even you. It may be about control, or just because you don’t feel like you can rely on anyone (which is also a form of control). This card asks you to stop and examine your current lifestyle or work and assess which activities or tasks are really urgent or really important, particularly in relation to your broader goals. You may need to employ various time management or prioritization methods in order to determine where best to spend your time and which tasks you can drop. Your goal needs to be greater efficiency, whilst also freeing yourself up for rest and relaxation when you need it.

When I see this card I often see a gentle male figure on the other side who wants to help you out. Call on him to help.

I believe in you,
Kristy Robinett
