So you don’t want Earth Day (tomorrow) to go by unobserved. What can you do? Over the last 21 days, I have been offering practical and productive suggestions for how you can honor the Earth this Earth Day.

A Pagan Community Statement on the Environment was published on Earth Day 2015. Since then, it has collected thousands of signatures from Pagans and Pagan allies around the world. It has been translated into 16 languages and has been signed by people from over 80 countries.

The Statement helps spread the message that we urgently need to reform our relationship with the earth.  In addition, it has helped to foster intra-Pagan unity and to increases Pagan credibility with the interfaith community.

The Statement represents the largest collective expression of Pagan voices ever and the most successful attempt to date to harmonize Pagan voices on what is the most critical issue of our time.

The Statement is not authoritative declaration for all Pagans, but an invitation to join our voices to those already raised in defense of all life on this planet … as well as a call to action.

Help us get 10,000 signatures by Earth Day, April 22, 2016!

Here’s what you can do:

  1. If you belong to a Pagan organization that has a mailing list, email list or newsletter, ask someone in the organization to promote the statement to its members.
  2. Share the statement with 5 Pagan friends in a personal email or personal Facebook message. We need signatures, not Facebook likes (so a post on your wall is good, but not enough). So ask your friends to go to ecopagan.com to sign the statement.
  3. If you haven’t already done so, go to ecopagan.com to sign the statement.
