“I’ve seen a couple of comments from other people about this picture that I thought were good points.
One, that the entire problem of Trump’s comments was the issue of consent. She is giving her consent in that picture.
Two, that given Trump’s misogyny, he would have some awful comments degrading this woman and not wanting to touch her.
Three, this shows that Trump was right about how he could shoot and kill someone in broad daylight and his supporters would still back him. He can be anti-woman on top of everything and still get support from women.
Lastly, and this is more my point than others: White supremacy doesn’t care so much about women, even if they’re white unless it ties back to the white male interest in some way. The white supremacist narrative is so powerful that anti-women comments or behavior or legislation (like from so many GOP politicians) won’t faze people.”
