Philosophy: Catholic church admits mistakes in Bible

“THE hierarchy of the Roman Catholic Church has published a teaching document instructing the faithful that some parts of the Bible are not actually true.” ( from here )

NOT ACTUALLY TRUE!?

Actually the Catholic Church made a similar statement in 1960, but, due to the fact that they refused to issue statements in any language other than Latin, nobody knew what to make of it:

“Male imperando culpemus.
Bellae internecinae fecimus.
Bible est adusque falsus.”

It runs something like, “We are to blame for crappy rule, we caused nasty wars, (oh, and) the Bible is completely fabricated.”

Fortunately, now that the church has leapt from the 14th century to modernity, all in the mid 1960s, when they make such amazing discoveries (as ‘ some parts of the Bible are not actually true’) the little people down here can share in their wonder and glory.
