I am making an appeal to help one of our local merchants, Sue Neff of Neff’s Animal Specialties 2421 Benton Avenue Missoula, MT 59801-7666 (406) 549-2379. She is 70 yrs old and has run a pet store in Missoula for many years and has taught agility training. She has a son who has had a lifelong seizure disorder which has been very difficult to control. His meds cost over $1000/month and without them he has chronic seizures. He is on Medicare and SSDI and until the beginning of this year he had Medicaid to fill in the gap of his coverage. For some reason his Medicaid was discontinued. So Sue had added expenses to care for him.
Sue sells high end pet food as well as other pet products. Recently both Costco and Go Fetch started carrying high end dog food and Sue’s business dramatically dropped. This resulted in her falling behind in her rent. If you have a dog or friends with dogs, can you buy your Dog food and supplies from Sue to help her out? Her dog food is better than Science diet. Even if it costs more than Costco, you are helping out a neighbor who has helped the community for many years. It would be a true act of dharma or mitzvoth or kindness and compassion. Can you pass this along to your friends?
Thanks
Jan
