The Best of Times and the Worst of Times

I bawled my eyes out while watching this. As Rollie Williams from Upworthy says so well,  “It’s so important to remember that the people we idolize aren’t the two-dimensional, easily digestible caricatures that we see of them in the media.” The Moth brings  Anthony Griffith in to share his story of being an active comedian attempting to make audiences laugh on a nightly basis, while coping with his daughters fight with cancer.

“25 kids walked in here with cancer and only 5 will walk out! This ain’t no sitcom! It don’t wrap up all nice and tidy, this is life! Welcome to the real world!”
