Heaven, Hell and Mental Health

What do we really know about the afterlife? Is Hell real? Is Heaven real? What about all those Near Death Experiences? Why are they almost identical to psychedelic experiences people report having from DMT or Mushrooms? Is it all happening in the brain? If so, can we take any of that as an actual spiritual experience outside of the human body?

In this week’s episode of Apostates Anonymous, co-hosts Keith Giles and Matthew Distefano discuss the doctrine of hell and why they reject it. But they also dive into topics related to mental health and ponder whether or not our ideas about heaven are real either.

As always, our featured sponsor this week is sure to get you thinking – and hopefully laughing a little.

Join us for a stimulating, thought-provoking, and very explicit conversation about what happens after we die, and why no one can be sure about anything.

Enjoy!
